Foodvalley Accelerator

The Foodvalley Accelerator is a program of Foodvalley NL and ScaleUp Company to support companies accomplishing growth. The mission is to empower agrifood scaleups with the tools, accountability and network to grow and flourish after the startup phase. The Foodvalley Accelerator started in the spring of 2019, a new group can start in the fall.

The Foodvalley Accelerator has been developed for and by entrepreneurs and focuses on the businesses as well as the entrepreneurs themselves. The program is based on the Rockefeller Habits 2.0, the proven methodology of Verne Harnish that initiates and guides growth. This method highlights four themes: People, Strategy, Execution and Cash. Tools for these themes are provided in the quarterly Learning Days. The participants are divided into small groups who, together with a coach, discuss their progress in monthly “Accountability Sessions”. On top of that, all participants automatically become Foodvalley Members, and can benefit from the agfood network Foodvalley has to offer.

Criteria for participation

This accelerator program targets innovative Dutch agfood scaleups with a scalable product or service and a minimum gross revenue of €100.000. After registration, an intake will be scheduled with the entrepreneur.

The costs for participation are €2.500 excl. VAT per entrepreneur per year. This includes the Foodvalley Membership and all training materials. When multiple entrepreneurs from one company participate, a discount can be provided.

A new group of entrepreneurs can start their program in the fall of 2019. For interested entrepreneurs with an agfood business we organize an information meeting on the 29th of August. The kick-off will take place on the 7th of October. All meetings are organized at the World Food Center in Ede.
